Nom-Nom, Namaste

• worked 8 hours - natch. lost about two hours/10 slides worth of work on a presentation when powerpoint crashed and failed to auto-save anything.
• while working, the fire alarm went off, for no god damn reason. five times. sporadically, for about three hours. loud enough that my ears are still ringing. every time this happened, I had a small heart attack.
• got on the Circulator, which took a 30-minute detour in order to get by protestors on K St. (or just, you know, naked singing women?) and travel a total of three blocks
• took the metro further away from my destination in order to get on a bus to get somewhere I couldn’t get on the metro because the metro wasn’t running; missed bus by approximately 12 seconds. hailed a cab.
• went to an almost all-couples potluck. played Loaded Questions. was that girl who admitted I once threw up in my own bed (yay, college!) also, learned what “prolapse” means.
